Cisco CCIE Security Written Exam

CCIE Security I passed my Cisco CCIE Security Written Exam during my holidays in Brazil. Yea I know  what you’re thinking, “This guy’s nuts taking exams during his holidays”. But I had to  recertify my Cisco CCNP and CCSP certifications before the end of August 2008, so I  had to run with it and I managed to pass the exam with a pretty decent score of 95%.  So what’s up next for me , I’m thinking of taking the CCDP (Cisco Certified Design  Professional)  and then maybe even line up for the CCDE (Cisco Certified Design  Expert), which is a  new expert-level certification which included both the written as well as the lab portion.

Discovering Knapsack - MacOS X’s travel companion

I recently bought a Macbook Pro and was looking to try out some new applications. In my quest to find the new applications, I came across KnapSack (TinyPlanetSoftware), which is a travel organizer which syncs with iCal and allows you to plan your travels ahead, go look back at the travels you’ve done. I’m going to be using it for my next trip to Brazil in July, so I’ll write some more about my first hand experience with this nice piece of software when I get back.

In the meantime, check out KnapSack at http://www.tinyplanetsoftware.com/ as well as the screenshot below:
